financial support to grandparents raising grandchild
My daughter has had her son removed from her by Human Services. They are pushing for adoption. My husband and I are considering taking him. My daughter has considerable assets. Can we receive child support from her to care for her son?

If a permanent commitment is granted, that will terminate all legal ties with the parents and they will not have any rights or responsibilities with respect to this child.
In that situation, you might want to discuss alternatives with human services such as temporary committments which would maintain the child parent relationship
