Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio

I want full custody in the event of divorce or seperation!

My husband and I are not getting divorced, but he is moving to Indiana to work. I foresee that he will remian there indefinitely. He is not too enthralled with the family life. I do not expect him to pay for anything though he said he would get medical insurance for us. I would like to take steps to insure I get full custody in the event of a divorce or seperation. Should I file for temporary custody since I am and have always been the primary caretaker? We are still married though I have a substantial job and have paid all medical bills and for everything concerning the child since her birth. Help!

Thank you for your time,

You should absolutely file for temporary custody and child support first, in the event that the marriage is no longer working, so that you can actively demonstrate your proper care, custody and control of the subject children. Don't wait, and let him have the initiative.
