Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio

gardianship

I gave gardianship to my godparants of my child, Now I want her back and they wont give her to me, they wont even let me see her. I do talk to her and she wants to come with me. How can I get her back? I am married and never did drugs or anything like that. I gave her to them to keep her secure BC my husband and I both went back to school for an second career and wanted to keep her in her current school bc she was so young, and they Babysat her since she was a small child. This was suppose to be a temporary situation. Please advise.

Thanks, Kelli

Re: gardianship

You will need a court order that returns the child to you, if it was the court that approved the guardianship in the first place. You will contact the court where the guardianship was granted.
