Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio

Gran parents right

Can a grand mother obtain legal custody when temporary custody is given to the grand mother and a decree between the mother and the grand mother and children protective services is signed and approved by the courts. In other words, what I am saying is; can the grand mother keep the child even when the mother provides a safe adauqate home and a good job and is ready to care for the child.

I am a little confused. You have indicated you already have custody. Temporary custody is the only kind of custody an individual can get from a court. It may be that this is an ongoing proceeding and you only have "interim custody" until the court can have a full hearing on what I assume is a dependency matter. But I would need a little more information.
