Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio

grandparents visitation rights

Hello, I'm a grandparent to a beautiful young boy, I have become estranged from his mother (my daughter) due to my sexual orientation. Can I fight for visitation and have a chance to get it? What are the laws in Ohio concerning this?

Re: grandparents visitation rights

Ohio law does provide for grandparental rights to their grandchildren. Sexual orientation alone should not preclude you from visitation. Without know more, it could be worth going to court over your situation.
