Getting guardianship of a minor

My husband and I have a friend that is wanting us to get gardianship of her minor child, when the time comes that she is no longer able to care for him.

Can we get the paperwork and do thid woth out an attorney? If so how do we get the papers?

Guarfianships are set up through the probate court. However, you can also have custody of the child changed to you through juvenile court.

You may be best advised to get the advise of counsel!!!!!!!!
