Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio

Harassment by Fax?

I am in a situation where my ex wife and her attorney are, I believe,

harassing me here at the school where we both teach in Ohio. The most recent

instance is what I am inquiring about. My ex's attorney faxed personal,

legal, confidential, non work related papers regarding our child

visitation to the school. I have full capability of receiving all

correspondences and transactions, including fax, at my home. Did this

act create any legal implication on my ex wife and/or her attorney?

Re: Harassment by Fax?

I can think of a couple of things wrong with this scenario off the top. Invasion of privacy for one. And if he is acting unlawfully, he also may violating the disciplinary rules governing attorneys. I would contact the bar association and let him know that you do not want him contacting your place of work. You also might seek legal of your own to find out specific what cause of action you have against the lawyer and possibly your wife as well.
