Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio

Holiday Visitation

For the last four years we have split Christmas Day visitation at noon. This year the new wife says I am bound to the Ohio Visitation schedule, meaning I won't get the kids at all. I thought that was just a guideline and to be used as a minimum if the parents couldn't agree. If we already had something established, that should be status quo unless we agree otherwise, correct?

Re: Holiday Visitation

The Court's established visitation schedule controls unless the parties otherwise agree. Obviously there is not agreement here, so refer to the schedule. In some counties, one party gets Christmas Eve, and the other party gets Christmas Day.
