Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio

my husband and I married after only a few months of knowing each other. We married in March 2005. He "disappeared" on October 17, 2005 and I hav not seen him since and can get no information on where he is or how to contact him. I have very recently "heard" he remarried. I have never gotten any information or documentation regarding this matter. How do I find out if I am still married to this man or divorced from him? I do have his social security number and mothers maiden name but thats it.

You think he may have gotten a divorce with you in absentia? You can probably get the marriage annulled through your local family court as long as you meet the residency requirements. Also, a records search can be done, but this will most likely cost depending upon how involved the search is. I suggest you consult with an attorney.
