Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio
My husband and I have been married for just over 6 months and he is now asking me to sign a post marital agreement. He is due to come into a large sum of money soon I guess. I feel like he just plans on leaving me. Is this legal ( I live in Ohio )

In Ohio, if the money is from inheritance or from a personal injury then the courts would rule in most cases that this would be his separate property anyway and he would not have to split it with you. But if the money were to come as a result of his active endeavors at employment or otherwise making money during the marriage, then it would be joint property and it would be split in the case of a divorce.
You would be best off not to sign anything.
