Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio
My husband is refusing to talk to police about two very serious crimes we both know my brother in law was involved in over the weekend. I contacted the police immediately and when my husband found out he flipped out. He said he will not speak to the police...that is his family we are talking about...The police want to speak to my husband because he has way more info than I do. My husband even let my brother in law bring two semi automatic assault rifles into our home!!! I called the police and asked them to come get them...They are stolen and have been bought and sold time and time again on the street. My husband had my BIL come get them before the police had a chance to act on the tip I called in. Is there any way this is grounds for divorce. I dont feel safe being here. We have three children I am worried sick about...Is there any way this would qualify under Ohio law for a divorce...My husband is in no way shape or form going to budge on this...Can I make him leave our house while I am trying to get divorce proceedings started?

You may be able to get him leave if you fear for his life. It may be grounds for divorce based on incompatibility. However, you need to get an attorney to assist you with this. I would be more than happy to represent you.

One doesn't really need grounds for divorce in Ohio. However, to get him to leave the house would require a court order, probably a protective order. I suggest you consult with an attorney.
