Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio

Is it illegal in Ohio for one parent to estrange a minor child from the other parent, after a divorce, to the point that there is no contact not even phone contact with that child? I have heard that if one ex does this to another, destroying the relationship of the other parent with that child, that the estranged parent is no longer libel for child support? Is this true in Ohio? my minor daughter is 16 now. Lives in OH and I live in FL. Please help me.

No, child support is still required even when contact with the child is limited or nonexistent. Hopefully, in a few years, when she's on her own, you will restablish a connection with your daughter.
