Inheritance of money
If I would inherit money from a relative, does it become community property or is it mine alone? Would he be able to have access to it in the event of a divorce?

An inheritance is normally nonmarital property which is not split with the other spouse. The gift would have to be to you alone and not to both you and your spouse.
