Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio

Joint Custody in Ohio

My ex and I have joint custody of my 9 year old son in Ohio. Her family and social life is in West Virginia. She takes him to West Virginia every weekend she has him no questions asked. He cannot adapt to a normal life at home. He misses all his sporting events and school events. He has even told her that he wants to stay for his games and she takes him anyway. Do I have a right to tell her that she needs to keep him in state on her weekends?

Re: Joint Custody in Ohio

It seems as though you do. You can also take this matter back to court if you find that this arrangement is really harmful to your son.
