Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio

Judicial Misconduct - Vacating Decision?

A visiting judge in Ohio profited from a

Child Custody Trial by grossly fabricating

his invoices. (He billed the state for dates

not worked, and for a date after the final

decision.)

Does judicial misconduct that seemingly

does not go to the merits of a case mean

the decision can be vacated?

Re: Judicial Misconduct - Vacating Decision?

It is theoretically possible, but you have to prove that the judge's actions had a direct effect on the case. File something with the Ohio Supreme Court Disciplinary Counsel in Columbus to get things going.
