Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio

juvenile problems

i have a 17 year old son that has been in legal trouble involving drugs, been in rehab and continues to use. he is creating problems at home and we are about to kick him out. i realize i can be held legally and financially responsible for him and his actions until he is 18. can i kick him out of my home without any criminal issues for myself?

The answer to your question is hard to predict. Since your son has been in rehab, there are agency people you can contact with whom to discuss your situation. You may not want to call your son's behavior to the attention of the officials any more than it has been, but you would be protecting yourself, and maybe even him, to do so.
