Leaving children home alone
Are there any laws that say at what age a child can be left home alone?

There really is no set age. It has to do with the maturity of the child, the responsibilities he or she has while alone, length of time, circumstances, etc.
The reason for this is (I assume you are referencing child abuse/neglect laws) that the focus is on what, if any, danger is posed by the child being alone. A 10 year old may be fine being left by him or her self but not responsible enough to be caring for a younger child. Three hours may be fine, but not three days. One 10 year old may be responsible enough to be left alone frequently. Another, for whatever reasons, may require continuous supervision. It's a judgment call that must be made case by case.

No, one must look to the maturity level of theindividual child.
