Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio

Leaving for military service

The state appointed guardian for an elderly woman is an important witness to events in a protective order hearing involving the woman's son and daughter. We have been informed that the guardian will be leaving town shortly for a military obligation. Is it possibile to depose a witness while in active military service?

It's difficult to do, but some courts allow videotaped testimony. Check with the rules of the court.
