Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio
Do I have a legal fight in Small Claims Court?
I moved in with my partner 6/2007. I lived in the house he bought from 6/1/07 - 2/2/08 when he kicked me out b/c he wanted the relationship to end. While in the house I split every utility with him that was in his name (gas, electric, water)...he chose to never split the cable with me that was in my name. We also dropped him off his fathers cell phone plan and put him on mine because I got a discount---I didn't get a dime for any of the cell phone bill although I assumed I would get something--maybe not the full bill, but something! When moving into the house I also purchased a stove and we each paid half for it. Upon moving out, I feel that I should receive the half of the cable bill, some if not all of his portion of the cell phone bill while he was on my plan, half of the stove, and the rent I paid for February since he kicked me out the beginning of February and I never lived there during that month. Do I have a legtimate fight in small claims? Its $1500. There was no lease or any agreements signed.

You just may. Your ex- may agree to settle if he knows you're about to do this. I'd send him a notice letter.
