Legal Guardianship of Adult
My MRDD son just turned 18 & I need to know how to obtain legal guardianship of him. I don't have any money but I need to be put in the right direction. What forms are needed? Can I file myself or do I need an attorney?

Contact your local probate court for the forms. Usually a clerk at the court will direct you. You may also received help from the director of the facility your son goes to or they will direct you.
