liable?
My friend has had her broker license withheld for legal action against her. Trouble is, it was against her ex-husband and she didn't even know about it. Her ''signature'' and ss# are on the collection form and until it is paid she cannot get her license renewed. Is she liable for this 9,000 dollars?

Your friend may have a remedy but she should act quickly. If her license was suspended by administrative action she may have a limited amount of time to appeal the suspension. She should talk directly to an attorney as soon as possible. This is obviously a very important issue for your friend and she should do whatever she needs to do to get an experienced attorney to take this to court if necessary.
