EX LIVES ACROSS COUNTRY IN SEATTLE WA. I WAS AWARDED CUSTODY IN TUSCARAWAS COUNTY, OHIO. SHE'S THREATENING TO NOT SEND 15 YR. OLD CHILD BACK AFTER SUMMER VISITATION. DOES SHE HAVE TO COME HERE TO CHANGE CUSTODY? This question has been answered, BUT...........

...............CAN I REFUSE THE SUMMER VISIT?

If you are concerned that the child won't come back and you have evidence to substantiate your concerns, then you will want to petition the court for a change of the visitation agreement allowing you not to send the child. But simply disregarding the court's order is going to get you into trouble.
