how long do i have to keep his stuff

he moved out awhile ago but he refuses to come and get te rest of his stuff how long do i have to keep it, im afraid if i throw it away i can get into trouble

Have you or your attorney send him a certified letter to his last known address giving him 30 days to remove the stuff, or you will deem it abandoned.
