Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio

Making Child Move Out

I want my almost 21yr old daughter to move out. She says I

have to give her a 30 day eviction notice, which can be ex-

tended up to 90 days. I would like to put her clothes out, and change the locks. Help!

Re: Making Child Move Out

My assumption is that said child is not paying any rent, and that there is not, nor has ever been a landlord-tenant relationship here. If that is the case, then you can change the locks whenever you want, as the child has no rights in the premises. If there is a landlord-tenant relationship, then you must follow the statutory eviction procedure.
