Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio

I got married October 25th 2009.

Around Christmas of the same year my husband informed me that he has self diagnosed himself as having Gender Identity Disorder. He has yet to talk to any professionals regarding it, but is determined that he wants a gender change.

At what point would an annulment be possible? Does he have to be diagnosed or is a statement from him stating that he wants to be a girl enough? Do I have to wait until after he starts tranisitioning?

Also is there any time limit on getting an annulment? Does one have to get one within a certain amount of years after getting married?

I don't think an annulment is appropriate. You can file for a simple divorce or dissolution. An annulment is rarely used and not in these circunstances. I have practiced 30 years and never seen nor heard of an annulment being used.
