Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio

Medical Bills

My husband is required to supply medical and dental insurance for his children which he does. His ex-wife took his son to the dentist for a root canal and we recieved the medical bill. Are we obligated to pay for it or is his ex-wife? He did not sign anything stating that he was responsible for paying the dentist. The son lives in Kentucky and we live in Ohio.

This depends on the terms of the shared parenting plan. Usually the parents agree to split the co-pays or out-of-pocket expenses.
