Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio

I moved to ohio because we married in kansas right before my husband was stationed here in ohio. We fight non stop and he is a bully, mean, very mentally as in verballyabusive and emotionally. He treats me like I am nothing and nothing is mine because he makes the money and everything is his. He just canceled my debit card so I have no way to have any money, he usually takes away my cell phone (we just have cellular phones) so I cannot call anyone. Things are just really bad and I know he would fight to take away the children from me or at least try to get shared custody. I do not have an income so my question is...Will legal aid help me with a divorce then? I would like to go home to Wichita Ks, where all of my family is. But I am afraid he would get me for running off with my girls. He is in the Air Force and is pretty smart with how he talks and I am afraid he will use his smarts to make me look bad. I know this all sounds crazy but I would appriciate any help. Please and thanks and please I would rather you Emailed than called inless I knew he wouldnt be home.

I am sorry about your situation. You should attempt to find a shelter for women who are abused. That way you can at least get some protection from him.

It is good that you are able to understand and describe your very critical situation. Have you tried contacting Licking County Jobs and Family Services, Adult Protective Services? You can also do the same in your home county.
