Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio
Last night on Jan 10,2013 my Friend was attacked by her mother when she asked if her real dad could pick her up after exams. Her mom went a little crazy and locked her out of the house and then locked her in the garage for almost two hours. When she climbed the gate to get in her mother attacked her, when she fought back her brother attacked her. They both sat on her for almost ten mins before the step dad dragged her out from under them. They again tried to attack her and she went to fight back. Her step dad then hit her, and when the cops were called they threaded to charge her and not her parents. I told her the next time it happened to call me and me and my mother would pick her up. What can we do to help her. Her real father has also abused her, and she has no where to go. The cops don't believe her...but this won't be the first time the cops here didn't do there job. Me and my friend are both 16, is there anything we can do?!

In Ohio, the best thing to do is to call children's services and let them try to sort it all out. But you will find in most family dispute situations that there are two sides to every story.
