Obtaining legal documents from my husbands attorney
My husband filed for divorce. I do not have an attorney. I need a copy of the paper work from my husbands attorney to show that in the divorce he is not seeking past child support or future child support. The divorce is not been filed because we have to go to a parenting class. My husband will not get a copy for me. Do I have a right to get the information from his attorney and if so how. I have to show this to the courts in order for the child support. My husband has not attened the class and I have.

If your husband filed for a divorce, you should have received documents from the clerk of court. They would have been sent by certified mail, or served by the sheriff. The package would have contained information about upcoming court date(s), and information about responding to the divorce complaint.
