ohio civil protection order

Can I get a cpo vacated on the grounds neither respondent nor defendant lives in ohio, originally a 5yr cpo it has been 4yrs . There have been no violations of original order. does their have to be a full hearing to vacate? what if unable to locate other party to serve papers.

You should be able to. You have to try to locate the other party, but after several attempts at notice, the court will proceed with the hearing. Most probably, you or your attorney would have to be there.
