Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio

Ohio vs. Michigan....Change of Jurisdiction...

My son was born in Ohio, my marriage and divorce took place in Ohio. Three years after the divorce I moved to Michigan and have been here for about two years. My sons biological father does nothing to make contact with him, no calls, no effort for visitation (even when I've offered to go one way or meet halfway), no letters/cards. At this time I have neither a phone number or address for him. Is it possible to have the jurisdiction of my case transferred to Michigan? I am getting married this summer and am expecting a baby in November. Once married, if ever a divorce happened, I would be bound my Michigan's 100 mile rule and not able to move back to Ohio without court consent anyway.

Speak with an experienced family law attorney about tranferring your Ohio case over to Michigan. You should be able to transfer.
