Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio
I have paid my ex-wife child support for 16 years, she recently died and I want to know what do I do about the child support order? My son is 18 and my daughter is 16 and I have not seen them in 15 years. I'm not seeking custody but I would like to know at least their home address. What do I do? I want to continue the support and health insurance for them, I just dont know what to do or where to start. I live in Ohio but the order is out of Virgina and she lived in Georgia.

I don't know exactly what you are seeking with respect to the child-support order. If you are asking about child support orders issued in Virginia, you need to post your question in the Virginia section this website.
If you know at least the town in Georgia where your ex-wife lived, you can request a copy of the death certificate for your ex-wife from the Dept. of Health in Georgia. The Dept. of Health's phone number is: (404) 679-4702. The death certificate should tell you the exact address where your ex-wife last resided. Your kids may still live there. Otherwise, you can hire a private investigator to locate your children. Many of them can locate people through a quick, 15-minute search on a program through Lexis-Nexis.
