Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio

If the parent receiving child support losses their job and goes on unemployment, would they be able to use that as justification to get an increase in the support payment the other parent has been paying? I understand that this is likely a complicated issue, but I have been able to find nothing online dealing with the custodial parent losing thier job.

Thank you.

Support modifications are justified when there is a substantial change in circumstance and the parties haven't been to court for a while, usually 24 months. Losing a job can be considered just that, but all the circumtances need to be considered.
