Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio
Parental rights/custodian parent
I was divorced on April 27, 2001 because my husband did not come to court i signed a form that gave me all rights of my
son. I was wondering by me doing that does that mean now
that me and my husband are remarried and we are all together as one again do we have to go to court again to get my husband rights to his son. I know at that time he was ordered to pay child support so does that mean that he
still has rights to my son or not. I need to know do i need
to go downtown to get some papers to make him back a custodial partent again or does it just change back to normal now that we are remarried. please e mail at [email protected]

Re: Parental rights/custodian parent
Have you contacted the child support enforcement agency in order to stop the child support? With the remarriage the previous custody order remains in effect. Technically, that order would have to be vacated or modified. A modification of the order may be an option.
