Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio
Is there a way to pettion the court to order my daughter father to get her medical treatment or allow me to get her seen?
My daughter's father has custody of her. I have asked him several times to get her sinus checked out. She is constanly
congested and has been for years. At age four she went to live with him, it was very hard on her. Now at age 6 she is still having extream behavior
problems. I have asked and asked to take her to a therpist or let me take her. He keeps refusing. I have even offered to pay for all of the out of pockets costs to
get her checked out. I am worried about my daughter's health. Is there anything I can do?
1 Answer from Attorneys
In Ohio you can certainly bring this to the Court's attention via a motion. This would best be done through an attorney however. If you can't afford an attorney, you might want to express your concerns to Children's Services and let them send someone out to check on her and her situation.
