Power of Attorney
Hello,
My question is about a husband who is in jail, can he give power of attorney to his mother , even though the wife and husband own a business and a house to gether, or does the wife have to sign to let the mother get power of attorney.

Re: Power of Attorney
The wife does not have to sign off on the power of attorney, but the wifes signature will be needed if there is the transfer of real estate or it there is a part of the business that the wife is a shareholder. I would suggest that you see an attorney to protect your interests
