Protection Order Hearing

I filed to get a CPO against my ex-husband because of domestic violence. He had my mother subpoened to the hearing for the protection order.

If she does not appear at court for the hearing, what will happen? Will the hearing be continued?

If she fails to appear, she could be cited by the judge for contempt of court. The judge may or ma not grant a continuance.
