Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio

Can I put a lein on a Dog for child support arrears?

My ex currently has a child support obligation to me of over #365 a month and owes me $8,500 in arrears. He has never paid me any money and he works under the table for the money that he does earn so it's almost impossible for me to prove. I live in Arizona, but they have told me since he lives in Ohio, that the case had to be expidited to Ohio for enforcement. What I need to know is, that he has a dog that is worth approximately $1500. The dog is currently pregnant. If I can find papers from the AKC proving him as the rightful owner of the animal, am I entitled to claim the proceeds from the litter to repay child support arrears? In essense, can I put a lein on his dog, and it's offsrping for arrears, claiming the animal is a source of income for him and an asset? If I can, is this something I would have to petition the court for seperately? Or will it automatically fall under the general lein that AZ put against his property already?

The bigger issue is why have they not filed criminal charges against your ex. The criminal courts are going to make him pay or else go to jail. Call the prosecutors office in the county where he lives to push this issue.

Good Luck.
