Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio

qdro-divorce

The division of my husbands 401K per qdro was not done right. My ex-husband received money that I was suppose to get. His company is blaming the investment company and they are blaming his company for making the mistake. My attorney is going to sue my ex-husband. He says he did nothing wrong so I am out of luck. What should I do?

Re: qdro-divorce

Financial institutions and agencies are difficult to sue. If the loss is substantial, this could be one way to resolve the matter. If the matter could be resolved by a phone call to the company from your ex-husband in compliance with the divorce decree, you could consider bringing an order of contempt against your ex-husband.
