Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio

Question about non legal seperation but a notarized agreement between us.

My husband and I are seperating. I don't want to make it legal right now, but I was wondering if we had a typed agreement that was notarized, then if anything happens, is it legal to take him to court if he doesn't uphold it.

Generally, such non court ordered agreements are not enforceable, as private parties are unable to modify the duties imposed by law on a husband and wife. Your situation will work until on or the other of you changes your mind, then you must file an action.
