relocating within same state with child.2 1/2 hrs away?????

i have full custody of 5 yr old daughter.dad has rule 19...he works 5am-2 or 3 pm mon-fri....i am engaged to marry a man who lives in ohio..i want to relocate to his area which is 2 1/2 hours away from my present address....i told my ex i would meet him half way and give him xtra week(6total)he says he will fight me on thismove...i want a happy life with this man who treats us both like gold andnot like a posession...can ex stop me? can he delay my move? i want to get daughter settled in time for her to start school so i dont have to take her out and move her later...any reason for him to stop me??

He may slow up the process a little bit. In Ohio in order to move a significant distance, one must either get permission from the other parent or get the approval of the Court. If it is for work purposes, which it appears to be, the Court should grant the permission no problem.
