Restraining Orders\Marital Property

My husband and I have been separated for 18 mos. No legal papers have been filed, yet. He is disposing of marital property. Can I file a restraining order to prevent him from selling assetts?

Yes, but most courts will do his only as part of a divorce filing. Also, most restraining orders will not cover joint checking accounts.
