Revoking parental rights

The father of my daughter wants to revoke is parental rights and stop child support. My daughter and her father do not a relationship. What do I need to do to make it happen?

Re: Revoking parental rights

The father may not terminate (revoke) his parental rights unless the child is going to be adopted by a step-father. If you are married and your current spouse wants to adopt the child, you will need the consent of all parties and an attorney to complete the adoption.

Child support may be terminated or suspended if the court finds that it is in the best interest of the child. If there is cash or medical assistance, child and medical support is assigned to the state and neither party may terminate or suspend chiod support.
