Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio
What are my rights?
I am only nineteen, my wife left me after eight months of being legally married. I was incarcerated for three months and did not hear from until i was released and found out that she was living with someone and was pregnant. I have been with wife since i was fourteen and we have three children together. I got married to her on Jan.25, 2000 and she started dating this guy on October 30, 2000. Can this hold up against her in court? What can I do and what are my rights.

Re: What are my rights?
In Ohio if one party wants a divorce they will get it. In the worst case scenario, if the parties are living separate and apart for a year or more, that alone is grounds for divorce. At that point you must focus on other issues such as child support and division of property. There should be no spousal support or alimony for a marriage of short duration. The court will divide assets up equitably, not neccessarily equally. Further child support is based on your gross income and is approx. 30 to 35% of your gross pay.
Good Luck.
