Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio
What rights do stepmothers have by law?
My daugther just recently has gotten a divorce and my grandson's so called stepmother is trying to tell us she makes the decisions when it comes to him now for she is married to his father. What are the rules?

Re: What rights do stepmothers have by law?
The step parent does not have any direct rights. The step parent gets whatever rights the natural parent has when the natural parent is not around. The step parent should not interfere with the rights of the natural parent. If they do so, it may be cause to file a contempt.
Good luck!!!!!!!!!!!
