Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio

Separation For 0ver 10 years

My wife and I have been separated for well over 10 years. When we separated we owned property together it is my understanding that she has sold that property. I'm not interested in getting anything from her, other than a divorce. I attempted to get a Dissolusion of Marriage 5 years ago and she refused. There are no children involved and I do not want anything from her. I'm not sure where she is now and I want to divorce her. What do I need to do? I have made up a will and when I die she is to get nothing that I have. If you can give me some advice I would appreciate it.

My advice is that you file for divorce. If she is no where to be found, you may be entitled to an uncontested divorce. If you know where she is, she has a right to show up and defend herself and whatever property rights she may have. It does not sound as though it would be difficult to achieve. Feel free to contact me if you need help with this. Good luck!
