Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio
I share parenting with my childs father, he only takes her every other weekend when it is his weekend she always ends up at his mothers house who has schizophrenia and sells drugs out of her home. He complains that he works to much and that she has to go over there while he is working. He has threatened to take me to court because I live in my boyfriends mothers house temporally. I don't want my daughter to be in that environment what can i do? I also believe that he is using illegal drugs too.

In Ohio, shared parenting plans are usually only appropriate when the parties get along with each other enough to be able to coordinate the child's upbringing and share equally in the decision-making process on major things in the child's life (like what school she will go to, what doctor she will see, etc.).
It sounds to me like this relationship has broken down to the point that shared parenting may no longer be appropriate. Further, if you have concerns that you child is around drugs and in the weekend care of an unstable person, you would do well to file for a change the decree setting forth your parental rights.
