Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio

Shared parenting

According to our shared parenting agreement, our kids are suppose to spend half of the summer with their father (my former husband). It is already the second half of July and he hasn--name removed--made any arrangements to take them for the rest of their summer break. When I asked my lawyer about it, his reply was that nobody can force my ex husband to take the kids. Then why is it in the shared parenting agreement, since there is no way to be done? What can I do in this case?

Thank you!!

Re: Shared parenting

You can file a motion to show cause in contempt, although all visitation exercises are voluntary by the party whose it is.
