Shared parenting

Ex is losing his job and will only carry insurance for 30 days. He is ordered to carry insurance on both children. He is also to pay half of all their epences which he has not done in the past 8 years. I want to know what are my rights, can I take this back to court and amend the custody order to get full custody of my kids? He has a drug problem which is a terrible roll model for my children. The children are rebelious about going to his home for visits and prefer not to go They are at the age that I won't force the (16&11). Just need some guidance. Thank You

A shared parenting plan will only be changed or amended if there has been a substantial change in circumstances since the original order, and if such changes are in the best interests of the children. You must provide evidence of this to get the order changed or withdrawn. As to the expenses, you need a Motion to Show Cause, as he appears to be in contempt of court. You must encourage your kids to go to prper visitation. Under Ohio law, they do not have any choice while they are minors.
