Legal Question in Family Law in Ohio

My son is in the Army, stationed in Arizona. His wife is pregnant and they recently seperated. She moved back to Ohio and doesn't plan to give the baby my sons last name. Can we stop her and force her to give the baby it's fathers last name? They will still be married when the child is born, and he will pay child support.
